This is what I have:

2 MTX 10' Subs in a sealed box
1 Legacy LA1020 1000W Amp (dont laugh it was free)

My old Jensen 2 Channel 250w amp died, now I have this Legacy 4 channel. It sounds like crap and think it's because I have it hooked up wrong. I only have it hooked up to 1 side of the amp in Stereo mode (in MONO it barely does anything). Can I make it sound good? Any suggestions other than throw the P.O.S. away? It's hard to believe my 200w amp sounded better!

Bridge one sub on channel 1-2 the other bridge on 3-4. Then turn your gains up until your hear dist and back it off a little.

I'm not sure how to bridge. How do I hook one sub to two channels? Thanks for your help.

Basically take the + from channel 1 and the - from channel 2 and hook the positive to + of channel 1 and the negative - on channel 2 and same for 3-4.
