I'm looking at getting 1 of the following Pioneer Premier units:

$360 DEH-P860MP (Burr Brown 24bit DAC)
$229 DEH-P760MP (16bit DAC)

Would the Burr Brown 24bit DAC (vs. 16bit), 6.5V pre-outs (vs 2V) be that much better to justify the price difference? The DEH-P860MP does have some other goodies that I don't care too much about though.
Greatly appreciated for you help.

yes. worth the difference.
I have three head units with the burr-brown DACs.
They're much nicer and the increased line voltage will make a huge difference if you use amplifiers.
