Please help me! There are two 12" Alpine DVC subs (4ohms impedance) up for auction that ends in 1 hour. I need to know if it is possible to hook these subs up so that they show a 2ohm load to the amplifier. I.e. is there a way to hook up a DVC sub so that it functions as a SVC sub? I don't want suggestions on other subs I can buy. I know it is possible with two 2ohm DVC subs or two 4ohm SVC subs . . . but is it possible with two 4ohm DVC subs? This question has been asked before but noone seems to answer it. Can one of you audio gurus out there please help me out? Thanks sooooo much!! Bryan |

You can get it to present a 2 ohm load to each channel. If you have a two channel amp. |

Thanks guys, I didn't end up buying the two subs. I am just sticking to my original plan: - Alpine MRD-M301 350W RMS at 2ohms amp - 10" Alpine Type R 4ohms Dual Voice Coil sub Thanks! Bryan |
