I have a problem. I have 2 pioneer 12" diamond plate dvc subs. I need an amplifier to power them on a 2 ohm load. I prefer a class d, but, if you could offer any suggestions it would be good. If no class d, then maybe another class. As with most people i don't have an extremely large budget. And also, i would like to know if it's possible to hook up three amplifiers to the vehicle's battery, or would it require another one?...Any information you write would be helpful......Thank You |

There are several class D amps on the market, the best deal by FAR is the Pyramid mono block. Wire your subs in parallel (see a 2 ohm mono load) and use this amp to drive them. That will get you about 900 watts of clean power (up to about 1800 if you crank it.) This amp sells for about $200 brand new with warranty... check out www.justamps.com |
