I think they are pretty crappy no offense.Bad quality and don't put out the rated power. Much better stuff out there for the proice.

Sorry, but your friend in town doesn't know too much about car audio obviously...Pyramid amps are one of the worst types of amps you can get...they put out about 1/3-1/4 of their rated power

Terrible... Pyle, Lanzer, Pyramiad, Pyle Pro, Legacy. Definitely a no-no. I have a 1600 watt Pyramid amp that's pushing my door drivers just because my cousin thought it was a good amp and got another one and gave that one to me. Now that's 1600 watts should blow the hell out my door speakers.
