I have a 300/2 (2 channel) amp bridged. Right now its pushing two 12 inch 8ohm DVC's 400 to 800 watts. Would it be better to have two single voice coil subs of less wattage maybe JL W zero's? And also how will my system sound if I keep my subs but unbridge the amp? Will it sound less powerful? Thanx dudes.

umm
what subs do you have?
how many ohms *per coil*?

this is a JL 300/2?

JL W0 subs only handle about 125wRMS each.

Pioneer premier subs dual 4ohm coils 12 inch 400 to 800 watt. And amp is polk/momo 300/2 (2 channel) 300 watts per channel or 550 watts bridged. Amp is bridged right now.
