the best amps? hmm Zapco Competition and Reference series ($500-$6500) Arc Audio ($500+) McIntosh ($1,200+) 1st & 2nd gen Orion SX, GX, and HCCA (circa 80s90s) ($200+ used, $500+ new) 1st gen PPI Art series (circa 1991) ($200+ used, $500+ new) 1st & 2nd gen Rockford Fosgate Punch and Power series from the (circa 80s/90s) ($150+ used, $350+ new) those are just about some of the best amplifiers you can find, in no particular order. none of them are cheap, but all of them are worth the coin.
