How will I wire 2 4 ohm DVC subs into a 2 ohm load? Will it have to be parallel? |

Okay then I guess I'll get those. This just confused me. Option 1: Both voice coils wired in parallel. This is the ideal load for many subwoofer mono amplifiers. In the case of a dual 4 ohm subwoofer, this would produce a 2 ohm load.
So I'm assuming it's different with a 2 channel amp.

Ok a mono amp is usually stable down to 2 ohms. You cant really bridge a mono amp since its already bridged on the inside.
A 2 channel amp can handle a 2 ohm load stereo mode but a 4 ohm load in bridged mode. |
