I have had an amplifier sent to be fixed by the factory and it worked awsome. It was mine though. Does anyone have any info on buying factory refurbished products. You can get a good deal on some stuff that way.

Factory re-furb usually means there was a problem with the product before but for instance with a sub they would probably just keep the frame and magnet, rip out the cone and coils and replace them with new. So basically its new and comes with a warranty. I have only had troubles with one sub that was a refurb but i got a 90 day warranty and it settled the problem. |

I bought a factory refurbished Kicker amp, and it works awesome. Most of the factory refurbs come with a warranty anyway, so... why not get a refurb? |
