As of right now I have an old school 8 gauge wiring kit in my car. I am going to put in a MTX 311D amp along with my current Rockford 60ix. I will be running ABOUT 400 Watts RMS a little more or less considering the Rockford is a little underrated and the MTX is rated differently between 12 and 14.4 volts. Do you think I should spend the $40 and get a 4 gauge kit? Or should I stick with the 8. Remember i am a very poor mo fo.
