I always ignored the subwoofer output on headunits but now I'm kind of interested on how to use them and what the are used for. How do you hook a sub or whatever you suppose to hook to the subwoofer? What is that output used for?

the subwoofer output is for running your rca's to your amp that will run your sub. this output allows you too adjust bass boost to your sub from your hu.
