hey guys sorry im new on the forums ..... Let me be a bit more specific. I have 2 DVC 4Ohm type R's with a Rockford P1000 rated at 1614@ 1 OHM. I wana build a custom ported box but do not have the true knowledge on how to calculate it. I am hoping i could get some Specs/Dimensions for a box similar to this design shown below. Again i would really appreciate any help i could get at this point as i want to start ASAP Upload}

Without knowing what max dimentions are and assuming they are 12" subs this is the best I can do... Got this design from CA.com. Moe Lester posted a bunch of free plans on there. Hope it works out for you.

2-2.25^3ft / sub will be fine.
If that box design will fit in your ride, it will do the job..Will definitely be louder than your sealed box.

Rovin has done MANY boxes for type-rs.. he always recommends 4-4.5 cubes @ 32-35Hz.

if you want low bass then tune to 32 Hz. im not sure if they will like lower tuning, but hey try it n see if it fits your tastes! Trial n Error works
