So what is the question?... The HDMI standard supports up to 1080p res so any hdmi cable should work |

just get some cheap ones on Amazon. Don't fall for the more you pay for the better quality picture you get. I bought 10 dollar ones off Amazon and they are quite nice and very durable. |

They HAVE indeed come down drastically in price over the last couple years. I remember ppl paying $60+ for a set. Sad. |

Yeah, I bought a 100+ dollar set, and got another for free. I have a cantilever mount so I swivel the TV often, the first week the expensive cables stopped working - the end just came loose and fell off. I returned it, hooked up the free set (like $10-15 at radio shack) and had just as good a picture. |

its a digital signal it dosent matter as long as the signal gets there. look on http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp there cheep. i got a 24' cable 2 years a go for 18$. |

Still any cable should work. And yea price has come way down, I bought a $50 cable back when i first got my xbox 360. |
