Elemental Designs is the only subs I will consider really. Right now I have a 13av.2 in a sealed box and it pounds, its very accurate and digs really deep. IMO ED is a top notch company. Is there better subs out there? Yes, but some cost over $1k. ED's are very good bang for the buck since they sell factory direct, no middle man to jack the price up like other brands. |

The reviews I've seen of the products have been mostly positive.
The COMPANY though is another story... they are known for crap customer service, people not recieving products on time, orders being cancelled, etc. |

I had an ed spv.2 15" and it was a little beast. Had a very strong low end, sounded better than my diamond D6 with a straight drop in. Then again it was a tc-9 based moofer. the cone was a THICK mofo, pretty impressive design imo. |

Crap customer service?! ED is one of the best in that area, responds to emails very quickly, they are on several other forums asking for suggestions on new products, awesome technical support. Any company will make mistakes it happens, but ED is very quick to make amends. Go on AVS forum or Hometheater shack and tell them ED has crap customer service and you'll be laught out of there. |

chad morris stop ridin ed's nuts. they have miserable customer service. Its not just this forum its pretty much every car audio forum. it specifically has to deal with return policy, as well as thier company representives. |

No...that doesn't come close to covering it all. FWIW, I have a Nine.2x still under warranty. It's blown from a factory defect. I won't even send it in because I know they'll screw me over. Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice, shame on me.
