Ok. I have two amps and a 5 farad cap. The cap is wired before the split. Yes I have one wire running from my battery to the cap then a distribution box to split tithe amps. My sub amps never cut out. It's a 4000 watt amp but my speaker ones cut out regularly recently they cut out completly so I bought a new amp with the thinking that my amp was crappy and blew. Well the second I put a new jbl in it started cutting out very quickly As well. I have yet to check voltage in but I'm wondering if my subs are drawing extra voltage from the cap and over powering my speaker amp? Any ideas??
