I currently have a box in my trunk with two Alpine Type R Subs (they are different though, I believe one is a SWR-1242D and the other is SWR-1042D). I am looking to buy a new amp and deck. However, I don't know much about car audio and need some advice on what amp would be best to support the two subs. I'm not exactly on a tight budget. I'd appreciate any advice, Thanks! |

ok so u have 1 10" type r and 1 12" in the same box? if they are both 4 ohm dvc, wire them to parallel/parallel makin a 1 ohm load. id pry get the aq 1200d (1200 rms at 1 ohm) its like 229 shipped, u can find them at audioque.com otherwise look into a rd 1000.1 (1300 rms at 1 ohm) ud have to call them to get the price 770-726-9337. they were on sell a while back. if u got time to wait u can get a ed nine.1 for like 200, but wont get it for til like december |
