Hi, i'm planning to install viper alarm , at present i have Spy 5000 but it drives me crazy so i'll be removing it.

Anyway with Spy i could connect an external 433Mhz 1/4 wave antenna on the trunk lid which greatly increases the range.

Is it also possible with Viper transmitter?
I already have a hole drilled in my lid so it would be too bad not to use it for an external antenna.

I couldn't found any info on DEA website nor received any response from them.
