Hey,

Wow haven't been here in a LONG time lol, but i have a question that i cant find an answer to anywhere else so I have come here, where i learned all i know about car audio before school lol, to ask this.

My girl drives a 2008 Nissan Murano, well a few weeks ago she got a CD stuck in the CD player and apparently this is a problem this particular line of cars has. So she replaced it from the dealership, put in a new CD that night getting it back and same thing. CD stuck in the CD player.

Now this has all been taken care of but i found out some interesting and concerning things about that particular car and that would be that i can NOT put an aftermarket Head Unit in this car because most of the computer runs through the stock head unit and puts the displays where they need to be on the car.

Is this true that i cant upgrade my girls system because of Nissan's system its using or am i missing out on new technology or am i being lied to? lol Thanks in advance.
