Here's the deal, I've been sitting on a pre-millennium Xtant 1001dx amp and 2 essentially new Soundstream Exact 12's for over 10 years!

I'm finally willing to part with them but don't know how best to move forward...

What do you guys think I can get for these? Are they a complete loss, or is their rareness and exceptional quality hold some of their value?

I really appreciate your help, as I'd like to avoid getting raped on Craigslist or Ebay...

Thanks Much!

Nice amp you have there, if you plan to never have a car audio system again good decision to sell, but if you plant to have one in the future that amp is one of a kind and worth holding onto sir.

But if your set on selling as far as i know those amps retailed over 1000 and if its in good shape and working order you could probably get 500+ outta the amp. I know of another forum that has one for sale for 375 though. Hell if your willing to come down to 250 shipped consider it a deal lol.

The subs I'm not REAL familiar with but i did some quick searching around and found that you might be able to get 75 outta each one. These subs aren't like that amp you have haha.

good luck friend.

Thanks for the good advice Subfanatic! The amp really is priceless, I think I spent about $1500 (my life savings at the time) on the amp and ~ $600 on the subs.

Sadly, I think the only way I'm going to experience them would be if I hold out for my future children, which I also don't anticipate on having any time soon ;)

I'd probably consider $350 for the amp, if i knew that person would experience the joy I never got to have...

Do you have any advice on sites to sell car audio systems?

All the best,
Jeff

realm of excursions .com had a fs section along with alot of caraudio forums. and anyone on those types of websites should know what they are worth and should be willing to pay it. it will take time though
