Is the Alpine PDX-1.1000 stable at 3 ohms? It does 1000 rms x 1 at 2 ohms and 4 ohms. I'm guessing it would at 3 as well. If so, would you say it is as good as compared to a JL 1000/1? I ask because the Alpine is significantly cheaper than the JL and if they are comparable then the Alpine would be the better deal. What do you guys think?

yes your fine going with alpine. it puts out the same at 3 ohm.
