Hi, my friend just sold me 2 kicker L7 10in in a ported box, and now I need an amp. My cousin has a Coustic 600se, would that be sufficient to use on these subs? I've been told I should try to get a 1000watt amp instead of using the Coustic, any suggestions? |

im not familiar with that amp - but it looks to be low end... what voice coils do your L7s have? what kind of vehicle is this going in? |

The kickers are going in a 1999 Sonata, but I'm not sure about the voice coils, do you know how I would check? |

I've been researching for a while now trying to figure out how to tell, I couldn't find any single voice coils for the L7s, so I don't think they come with single coil |

they are either dual 2s or dual 4s either measure your impedence with a digital multimeter or take the speakers out of the box and see what they say on them (where the wires connect to the speaker... follow the link below: http://www.car-stereos-online.com/products/kicker/pics/KICKER_SOLOBARIC_12L7_LAR GE.jpg see where the blue-ish color is? it will tell you what your voice coils are right there |
