Front Speakers:

Infinity Kappa 682.9cf
RMS 100 Watts
Peak 300 Watts
Sensitivity 94dB
Frequency Response 40Hz – 25kHz
Impedance 2 Ohms

Rear Speakers:

Alpine SPS-69C3
RMS 50 Watts ?
Peak 250 Watts ?
Impedance 4 Ohms

Amp:

Alpine MRP-F250
4-channel car amplifier
40 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (50 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms)
100 watts RMS x 2 bridged output at 4 ohms (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)
2-, 3-, or 4-channel output
variable high-pass/low-pass filters (50-400 Hz, 12 dB/octave)
tuned Bass EQ (12 dB bass boost at 50 Hz for channels 3 & 4)
subsonic filter (15 Hz, channels 3 & 4 only)
MOSFET power supply

I am wondering what caused the amp to die (thermal over load) Orginaly the front was a set of alpine s type as well but after my Kenwood deck fried one of the front speakers BestBuy installed the Infinity Kappa 2 Ohms speakers. Is this an issue?
