Hello everyone, I was wondering if you could help me decide which amp I should buy to run 2x 12" Alpine Type S's . I'm hoping I won't have to spend over 200 dollars but any suggestions work. And also, how should I wire it? Thanks for your input. |

are they dual voice coil and if so what ohm are they? 2 or 4 ohm? |

Has anyone ever heard of a 1,000 Watt Black Memphis Amplifier? my boy was going to sell it to me for 100 bucks, I was going to buy it because it's in my price range but i've never heard of the company before and i can't find it online. its not memphis car audio so im not sure. |

The brand name of that amplifier was actually Blackmore
Is it useable for my setup?

Car amplifier boasts a maximum power of 1000-watts. Audio device features a variable bass boost control. Mosfet 2 channel amplifier. RMS power 300W x 1 at 0.01 THD. 4 ohms. The subs can hold 300 rms each so shoot for an amp that is stable at 1 ohm and that will do 600 rms. You wouldnt need a aq 1200 d, thatd be twice the power you would need for these subs. A good amp to do 600 rms shouldnt cost you too much at all. |
