Hello everyone I did alot of research on subs and making sub boxes and everything and i picked to go with a 15 inch alpine type r, i bought a dual 4ohm version and i made a box in my woodshop class and it came out perfect its 3.1 cubic feet and i tuned the port to a frequency of 35.3 hertz. i was just wondering if anyone had an idea of whats amp to use so i can make this system bump HARD! ive researched kicker amps and apline like the zx1000.1 and the MRP-M1000 any of those good? everyone give me your opinon i want this project to be finished!

Kicker, or a JL 1000.1, or even a JBL 1000 mono, like the JBL BP.1000 or if you need to say money look for a older Directed 1000.d They are all good amps for a good price.

There is alot of ways to go, just do not fall into the "flea market 1000 watters" I.E. American Bass, Lazar, Autotek, etc.

Dollar for dollar one of the better amps out there, reliable and true power.

There are many other great options, just feel free to pm and ask, i will be more then happy to help direct you in the right direction for the right price.
