ok i have 2 sets of speakers in mind. either these.

they'll either be running off a alpine mrp-f300 or a TRX4.300 Soundstream 4 Channel amp. ill bridge either one of those. are either of these amps good to run a set of front stage component speakers? if not any other recommendations on what to run either of these speakers with? |

ine, but there are plenty of cleaner amps out there. You are going for S.Q. is my guess not just SPL so you want an amp that will provide nice clean S.Q. wattage.
Are you dead set on buying a new amp, or would a used older amp be ok too?! Have you looked into the old alpine v-12 series on ebay, or an old soundstream, ppi, or us amps?! I run my MB Quarts ( the german made Q-line) with an old alpine mrv-1505 and they are awesome sounding and clean too, blows people away how clean and loud they can get without distorting.
Anyway the MRP is a good amp but there are many other good options. if you have any questions feel free to pm me, i have been doing S.Q. and high end car audio for about 8 years. |
