i cant find the serial number i need to got the code for my radio? i can only find the cl040220838354 number.should i open the casing on the radio to look for the one i need?

It should be on the outer casing only.

A label with two barcodes , the lower one beginning with C7000000+ + + +

Only around 20% of Clarions will have this number.

If not you will have to try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service
