have a ford 6000 cd player with cracked screen.
backlight comes on and accepts and ejects cd's but cannt get anything to play, radio or cd.
suggestions? could it need the code re input? if so how do you do that?
Also, is it possible to make some makeshift tools to remove the head unit? |

Radio removal demo here using the correct extractors

Alternatives are 2 pieces of bent , wire coathanger or 4 x small drills(use the blunt ends) or 4 x small Allen Keys or 4 x small screwdrivers or 4 x nails or even 4 x darts.
An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4 securing clips |
