im sorta new to the whole car system thing so please bare with me

I have a set of SPR-69C 6x9 speakers that were given to me

on the back of both speakers there are two capacitors

when i got the speakers the previous owner had his vehicles wiring harness with the (-) and one of the capacitors to the (-) and the (+) and the other cap to the (+) on the harness now when i wired i was unsure if this was correct soo i tested both just wired (-) to (-) and (+) to (+) and the same way he had it wired they both seemed to play equally with no difference but like i said im not sure

if you're wondering if you reversed the polarity of the connections, the speakers will still play anyway. Just that they will be pulling in instead of pushing out. You can have a close look at which way they move when they play and see if your connections are correct.
