I have a VW Jetta with a stock deck, Clarion changer, and recently installed two 10" subs on a 2 X 100W amp. Whenever the subs hit, even at relatively low volume, the changer, located about a foot and a half away, skips. Does anyone have a solution to this problem other than relocating the changer or getting rid of it altogether?

Well i did a pretty tight install with my changer. if you really dont want to buy a new one there are many places to put a changer in your car you just have to get creative...you can put them under the seats in center consoles if big enough or even in the glove box...if it skips from the bass all you have to do is get it away from the subs, you can o this with a little patience creativity and a lot of free time
