This is a CLARION radio and the only CLARION that can be decoded for free is if your radio has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000++++.
If not the it`s your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop ( who are normally the cheapest option) |

Hey looks like i have the same problem. Batt got disconnected and now my radio is asking for a code.
1, Unfortunatly i do not have the model of the radio as it factory fitted. The car is a 2000 Renault Megan scenic RXE

There should be a 14 character Serial Number beginning with RG or RN or PH or similar and maybe a Security Number in the format of TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode so please quote EVERYTHING you can find |

There is something that looks like an inspection sticker reading 902221481729 22DC481/72 M/ch:011261 and the square labelled 'C' is stamped '195'. Otherwise the labels state the Renault part no. 7700 433 070, Philips 22DC481/72, 9022 214 81729, PA5, 4x15W, RDS, No CD charger control.
Is that enough to work the magic with?

Thanks for the help.
I knew it had to be made by Alpine or Pioneer, but I wasn't sure. Every car I get seems to be different.
I only remember the code on the original 3-series I had with a Blaupunkt radio...32525.
Our dealership is known to be a bit reticent with these things... |
