The hole in the sheet metal of the inner door for my speakers is too small to accommodate a new speaker of the same diameter because the shape of the basket structure. I want to enlarge hole a centimeter all around. Could this compromise the structural integrity of the door? Only trimming the sheet metal which less than 1/16" thick, not beams, tubes, supports, cross members ect..

Thanks, Chris
