Hi, I need ideas for a good HU under $300. my only requirement is that it has a usb port and is compatible with my 1st gen. ipod touch. thanks  |

never mind they would be around 500 bucks, just go with something pioneer, you'll pay around 200-250 bucks and it will be nice |

mid range alpine and eclipe might be an option. alpine started selling what they call "Digital media centres" you can't play CD's but these HU's are setup for usb connections, ipods, maybe memory cards, bluetooth etc... very neat concept |

co-sign denis, i have the ixa-w404 and it is awesome for the ipod, as with any of the alpine mech-less receivers. you cant go wrong with alpine |
