HO alternators are High Output alternators. There are a few online places that can send you a brand new one or upgrade your current one. example is http://www.highoutputalternator.com/ just type high output alternators in google. The Big 3 refers to upgrading your Big 3 wires that are part of your electrical system to thicker more conductive wiring. These 3 wires are as follows. Battery positive (+) to the alternator Engine block to chassis ground. Battery ground(-) to chassis ground. This can lower the overall resistance of your cars electrical system. Bigger wires means more conductivity, most stock "3" are 8 gauge i recommend at least going to 1 gauge or 0 gauge. |
