my friend that just got into car audio, is throwing together a wierd lil set up...he has gotten subs from his father and uncles that dont use them anymore......anyways he is putting 1 12'' JBL GTO 2 ohm woofer, 1 12'' JBL GTO 4 ohm woofer in seprate boxes, 3 10'' rockford fosgate punch p1's and a 4000 watt pyle gear x mono block amp in a chevy starcraft van lol
he wanted me to write this on ecoustics and wants to know if that set up is going to be loud 
i told him that he shouldn't mix subs but he doesnt give a damn lol  |

lol thats what i told him but he doesnt really care, he also wants to know if anything bad would happen to the amp for runnin like 3 different subs |

yes. it could be very bad. thats a lot of subs, and i didnt even look at wat amp it is, but it probably cant handle that low of resistance |

Assuming those rfs are D4 coils he might be alright. Several subs will get totally different power, and most likely it will not do what he expects. |
