Hello!
This is my first post and i would like to say hello to everyone.
I recently bought a Renault Laguna 2 (2nd hand) and the radio that comes with it is asking me for a code which i don't have. I got the radio out of the enclosure to investigate and it has a lable on top with a 4 digit number which i tried and didn't work!
I also noticed another lable on the side of the radio, this one with the serial number, model number, etc.

I know its possible to get the reset code using those numbers but i'm not sure if it's possible with this model.Can someone help me getting the code?

I have just paid Ģ8.99 on line to get a code for my Renault Laguna 2 which has a Cabasse in dash 6 disc stereo fitted as standard, the site gave me the code 5591 based on the barcode but its not working, I keep getting the error message on the display. I have entered it correctly using the required method. I have had the car from new and remember entering a code correctly before which worked before the service books etc were stolen.
Any ideas ?

For the code to be calculated here the radio MUST be removed from the dashboard and all the letters+numbers quoted on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
Demo here using the correct extractors

Alternatives are 2 pieces of bent , wire coathanger or 4 x small drills(use the blunt ends) or 4 x small Allen Keys or 4 x small screwdrivers or 4 x nails or even 4 x darts.
An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4 securing clips |

Hello,
I know this forum is for stereo codes but my partner decided to change the stereo in our Renault Laguna 2 priviledge ide, and then change it back to the original 1 but now we have no stereo because there is no power going to the display unit for the stereo and the tyre pressure sensor digital display with the numbers does not work, we have checked all fuses and they are all working correctly, and there is no fuse at the back of the stereo and Renault want 90 pound just to find out what is going on. Please can someone help us as we are going insane. Thankyou |

Like others, I had to replace the battery on the 2002 Laguna, and of course, radio code is not written in the owners book...

I've gotten plenty of info off this site before but only just registered today to ask a q myself.
