i have 2 of these woofers that i have never used before and i was wondering if these subs were any good???

do they put out a decent amount of bass?

JBL is a great brand that often get overlooked. Find a 750-1000 watt mono amp that is 1 ohm stable on them and let em wang. You should be happy for the power.

yes there are pretty good i had an old 300 watt 15 i think it was a house 15 but never the less i put a 760 pioneer at 1 ohm and it hit ok for what it was.
