Unfortunately this code will not be obtainable for free (using the serial Number) as it is not in the available database.

Main Dealer or a Decoding Service only

Hi I have a 2001 BMW Z3 and the battery died over the winter while it was stored. It was in the CODE mode where I needed to enter a 5 digit code. I had a code, entered it and it didn't work. I needed an oil change on the car anyway so I told them to check the radio at the same time. When I got the car back they told me to call BMW directly to get my code. So I did and got the code 46542. When I went to enter in the code for whatever reason it now only wants a 4 digit code! Is there a way to get it back to the 5 digit code?
