Try Pioneer KP-500. High output even without an amp you can drive a sub.

Dont go with sony. I have a sony, and its pretty durable but it lacks in the audiophile features. Im a big sound quality guy, and sony just doesnt do it for me. Go with the eclipse cd 8443. thats the one im gonna get. its $400
