First lets start off with the beginning of the interior. -Dash glassed All the doors and such are still going through filler work. More pics of that to come. -Plastic panels sanded down for a glass finish Custom tweeter pods lol -Most of the plastic in primer. Moar about to be posted (still resizing pics)

Ok, so the other day I did a little deadener work. I put 2-3 layers down under the back seat, and also 3-4 layers in the trunk. Yes, the wires are a little bit messy, but its impossible to organize wires on a valve block lol One again, moar soon.

I replaced the carpet in the car and also the seats in this post. -New carpet -Spent hours trimming it and cutting all the holes -I built a mount for the new front seats out of .25 flat iron -Pretty much bolts right up to the stock sliders (that is a quick how-to on installing racing style seats). Also my new silver back seats with light blue stitching

Thanks for the positive words. I'm glad that there are still people on this forum that are interested in modification. quote: did you just glass over your dash or did you make a mold?
I glassed over and shaved a few things. Same thing with the doors. quote: but um why do u really more than 2 layers of mat ..
No such thing as overkill Rovin The mat helped a TON.

Oh and as far as that sticker goes of the "No Fat Chicks" my older brother told me you used to see those everywhere in the 80s but they stopped making them or something...

ppl say there is too much of a good thing - when it comes to spl comps too much can actually reduce ur score but ur ride is def gonna be rattle free & bass roll off will be silky smooth well im guilty of over doing it a bit too - just wanted to see what u wud say.... my doors actually have 3 layers on it - 2 inside & 1 on the outer panel ...have heard ppl say they never heard anybody else's doors with that much midbass (cdt hd62 6.5" comps). i used to own a dd9512 which forced me to deaden since the doors used to move in\out like a speaker but after i was done with it nothing is moving anymore trunk lid : well since its a wagon it flexes alot too so i had to foam & do 3 layers as well roof : 2 layers , when ppl tap it they say wtf ! no deadening on my flooring though ...maybe 1 day i might do it but im afriad it cud lower my spl score since i compete in spl SS FTW ! ...

Sound deadening the trunk will not effect my score at all since my box is basically sealed off from the trunk. I mainly did it to reduce exhaust noise. quote: That looks great Nick, the car has come a long ways. I'm already loving what you've done so far but I can't wait to see the finished product. Oh and as far as that sticker goes of the "No Fat Chicks" my older brother told me you used to see those everywhere in the 80s but they stopped making them or something...
Thanks, Rob. I'm glad you like it lol. Yeah, I stole the sticker from something I seen a while back. It fits the car perfectly though.

I would do my own but I'm affraid of messing something up. Such as depinning the plugs and then putting the wrong wire in the wrong slot on the plug. Just alot of depinning and documentation and rerouting the wires.

Alero = Grandma car??? I'm going to have to disagree with that one... I'd love to have my 99 Alero back, there's nothing grandma about it. lol BTW, Nick V's Alero is pure SEXX. Great work.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I do have pics of the almost completed dash on my computer. I will post them tonight when I get inside. It still needs some work, but for the most part that is done.

Pics ftw. Dash in primer: Doors getting ready for primer: The dash painted and in the car. Nevermind the vent, it is just in there to direct some air until they are painted lol. Also I dont have the fuse covers on or the steeringwheel coupler on.

I got to fix a gas leak tonight. If it all goes right it will be started. Then tomorrow I have to do come cutting to the hood and parts of the turbo fittings to get the hood to close right. The turbo is a bit too big for the car. I'll take some pics of what I had to do to get it to fit right lol.

Please give it a A-Team paint job. You would probably gain a few deebeez just because the A-Team would want you to have them. PS Nick's name still makes me Rofl
