The car is in the USA but is asking for a 4 digit European code. I was able to get a 5 digit code from the Dealer for it which is: 51664
I have tried holding down the "M" key to reset the region to USA but the display never switches from CODE _ _ _ _ to SN#.

The only way to find out is to ring up and ask as it depends whereabouts in the world you live.
Here in the UK the cheapest option would be to take it to a local Car Radio / Audio shop who might charge £10 / £20 by reading the memory chip (EEPROM)
The Main Dealer should have access to the original factory database ....and will charge as much as they like for the code.
Anything from free up to £100 plus ! |
