I had a Sony XR-U330 in storage for about nine years and I just reinstalled it. The right side speaker seemed to have no bass and sounded a bit raspy at times. I thought it was the speaker, but it sounded fine when hooked to the left stereo wire. So I decided to put both speakers on the rear (there are only two speakers in the car) wires and I get the same problem: right side is staticky, raspy. Seems to me the problem is inside the main unit but what could it be? Why would right front and right rear both be bad? Is there a workaround? Thanks for your help!
