if ur head unit has no rca cables .. will ur system sound better with them cuz i had a mb quartz 1500.1 running on a head unit without them .. cuz my sony explode didnt have rca cables so my amp blew so i bought a new head unit with sw output and im waiting to get my amp back will it sound better

you need rca cables to hook up an amp in my opinion, some people install a converter on the speaker leads to make rca connections but that power to your amp is controlled by the volume on your deck plus you lose speaker power as well. I would get a deck with rca sub outputs, that would sound best in my opinion, then you can control the sub seperately from the rest of your speakers.

yes just get a line output converter. to hook it up it just takes a little splicing into your current speaker wires near the head unit. Then RCA cables plug right up. About 30 bucks at a car audio shop/bestbuy or something
