Just read the bold post you made, sorry.
I got my serial number by turning the radio off then on and then holding the 'M' key for 5 seconds. It then displayed the serial number. I am currently unable to pull my radio out and read all the information on it. If you could still help with just that information it would be greatly appreciated, if not, thanks for this services anyways... very nice of you

I suspect that your radio is made by ALPINE or BECKER ...and the decoding success rate is not too high for these makes.
If it is a 4 digit code then try 4900
If it is a 5 digit code then try 34311
If not try 34111
If none of these work then you will have to attempt to obtain it from your Man BMW Dealer. If you are lucky and have all the relevant paperwork , then you might get it looked up for free !
(try several Main Dealers )

CLARION are a bit of a problem to decode as the only one that can be decoded for free by Serial Number is if yours also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C7000000 + + + + .
If yours does not have this C7000000++++ Serial Number anywhere on your radio then you will have to pay at your Main Dealer or a Decode Specialist.or a local Car Radio / Audio Shop who carry out decodes ( The shop is usually the cheapest option) |

JAGUAR do not make radios .They only affix their badge onto radios made by the large manufacturers (ALPINE , VISTEON , CLARION etc).
Unfortunately the information you have quoted is insufficient to identify the manufacturer.
However , being realistic , the majority of Jaguar badged radios cannot be decoded for free from anywhere on the Internet.
Which , as a security reason that is bad news for car radio thieves....and also bad news for the owner who loses (or was never given )the code.
You will have to try your Main Jaguar Dealer who may have it listed on the original manufacturer`s database ...or try a Decode Specialist or local Car Radio / Audio Store who should be able to electronically "read" and/or recode the memory chip (EEPROM) using specialist kit |
