I've read several on-line reviews that criticized the Alpine display for daytime viewing. Reviews of the 9827 model mention this in particular.

Any experience out there with this?

The display is pretty much useless during the day. One of the worst I've seen.

Alpineīs displays just plain suck. They are dull, lame and poor quality. For a so-called top of the line Brand name....well letīs just say....very dissapointing!
