i have my radio on my desk. this is the number . another number is similar without TB165. I dont`t remember the code with 0 . I think is something with 1 and 9 , but I think the solution is to go to my service guy to tell him something about his mother. :-) ANd to bring some beers for you.

I suggest that you check your numbers again as RN22F10078722 should be 14 characters long (yours is only 13 ) and the code already given 0623 is the correct code using the Security Serial Number 8200057676TB165

Yes..your code is definitely 0623

as originally stated

1...If your numbers are correct then 0623 is the original factory code.

2...Make sure you are entering it using the correct instruction and are getting the correct display at every stage.

(see below)

If all this checks out OK then it looks like your radio will have been recoded to a completely different number.

You will then have to take it to a Decoding Service .

Philips DC229 Renault Code Entry
Switch on the radio, the display will show 'CODE' followed by '0000'

Press the preset [1] for the correct first digit
Press the preset [2] for the correct second digit
Press the preset [3] for the correct third digit
Press the preset [4] for the correct fourth digit

If the correct code is now shown on screen, press and hold the [6] preset to save it.

The code is still 0623

You will have to take it to a Decoding Service to read/recode your radio.

Cheerio !
