im having probs installing a new stereo to my car , i had an after market one installed by the dealer it quit playing cd's so i thought id buy and install a new one my self. i hooked it up the same way the other one was,now im getting all these indicator lights turning on and off and the starter has like a 2-3 second delay after i turn the key.when they did the stereo install they ran the a new acc cable to the left dash fuse box and not to the radio fuse. and the new cd player uses 5 amps the old one uses .5 amps. i hooked the new stereo to the lighter and it works fine. so im assuming that the prob is the new acc wiring the installer did.
any body got any solutions for me
ive thought about running a cable from the radio fuse but im kinda chicken s**t that ill burn the wiring in my car |

YIKESZ BE CAREFUL, i have the same vehicle, and you need some kind of electronic to compensate for something within the computer, its wired in line with it, (just cant remember what its called) |
