This seems to be a common problem, I let my battery go flat and it knocked off the radio. I enivitably got my 3 chances of guessing the code wrong! Would anyone know the code for the below details?

These BMW Z3 Blaupunkts are usually dual coded.(Five digit code = US and Four digit code = UK + Europe )
If yours is four digit , then try 1473
If not , then I would suggest that you email restoredclassic@aol.com and they will be able to guide you through this dual code system and hopefully make your radio work again

I have changed my. battery and I can't get the radio to work.
I have got the code 7048 from my garage but is doesn't work or I am doing something wrong.
I put the code in with the first four of the six buttons and then I used de -> button after that the radio ask again for
the code and after three times again code wait,
Numbers found on my radio:
BP8272W18300487842
FD 498
BMW Businessw CD 6512 - 9416 - 433
Index 10
It is a Blaupunkt.
Can someone tell me if the code is wrong or did I do it wrong way.

BMW do not make radios .They only affix their badge onto radios made by the large manufacturers (ALPINE , BLAUPUNKT etc).
Your radio is made by ALPINE and unfortunately the code is not available for free from anywhere on the Internet.

on one of the stickers as well.

My battery cables came loose and now my BMW Business CD wants a code. All I could find on the Service menu for the SN is X2181770. I could not pull the stereo out to get the full SN. Can anyone help me with a code with only partial SN? Thanks a bunch! |
