Im a NEWB here and wanted to start off by saying HELLO and I have a question already ;)

I just got a viper 791xv two way alarm installed in my 05 Escalade (A friend of mine helped me do it)
and for some reason my 2 way pager wont work.
If I lock/unlock or remote start it works fine but my pager alarm doesnt show anything on the fob?
just always showing the unlocked door icon.

Can anyone please help me or give me some insight?

you might be in valet mode.....i have the clifford rsx 1.5 and it's pretty much the same version and that's what my manual says.
