While I suppose it's technically possible, I doubt if it's likely. How cold are we talking? Like 25°F or more like -10°F?

I have never seen that happen. My amps always work in 0 degree temps.

One reason it is bad to go from extreme cold to hot on amps, and subwoofers is the condensation it creates.

I get pretty much the same weather as you Jaymes and none of my amps ever stopped working in really cold weather. But also amps are inside everyones cars where its still somewhat warmer than just sitting outside.

ya ok thanks cause i have some pos amp and it was working beautifully and then it just stopeped working and then it kicked on for like 20 min and then it shut back off. ive checked the ground wire and everything
