Well... I parked my car in downtown St. Louis last night before going to a New Years party and when I returned to my car this morning it wasn't there. I called the police and they said that is hasn't been towed as of 12:00 but sometimes it takes up to 3 hours to process it. An officer came out and filed a report but as of right not it looks like someone took it. It's fully covered by insurance but i would HATE to lose the Aviator... Shes my baby, hah. However if someone stole it im sure they are loving the system. |

Haha yeah its not right but its really out of my control... Thats why people have insurance. I'm trying to call Eclipse and see if they can track it with the navigation... Its a reach but im sure they have the ability to do something like that, at least i hope. |

or if they tried to steal the system and 1)saw how much that was in it and needed more time to remove, or; 2) tried takin the system out and it was too big to take away in their car so they took urs. regaurdless. that's a drag. my friend has an Aviator and he's in love with it. although the only thing he has in it is a kenwood hide away CD player, so I'm sure that the amount of love in yours was far greater. good luck |

I had the rims taken off for the winter. They could have taken the sub out easily but the only way to get the speakers in the pods out would have been to smash the fiberglass. You have to take the entire door panel off to get to the speakers because its completely flush mounted into the fiberglass. Im pretty sure they broke in to steal the audio, not for the car because Lincolns arnt the easiest car to take without keys. Things that were in it... Im not sure Andrew, ill look into it. We changed all of the garage codes so they cant come open them and also told local cops to look for it. As of 8 tonight its still not located in any towing lots, so thats pretty much out of the question. |

This sh!t reminds me of that scene in Pulp Fiction when Vincent's (John Travolta) Malibu get's f*cked with... LANCE: Still got your Malibu? VINCENT: You know what some f*cker did to it the other day? LANCE: What? VINCENT: F*ckin' keyed it. LANCE: Oh man, that's f*cked up. VINCENT: Tell me about it. I had the goddamn thing in storage three years. It's out five f*ckin' days -- five days, and some dickless piece of sh!t f*cks with it. LANCE: They should be f*ckin' killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution. VINCENT: I just wish I caught 'em doin' it, ya know? Oh man, I'd give anything to catch 'em doin' it. It'a been worth his doin' it, if I coulda just caught 'em, you know what I mean? Granted, getting your sh!t stolen is way the f*ck worse. |

You don't need keys to steal cars..... gangs with flatbed tow trucks have been known to just load em up and head off, people see them and don't think anything of it. |

It's true. Take it from me, the general public has no idea that anything remotely illegal is going on when this happens. Trust me. Btw, anyone who's interested in a '01 Flatbed Tow Truck, hit me up. I don't need it.........anymore. |

Not related, well sorta, my sister's neighborhood has been hit recently by what appears to only be kids. Ppl's cars were being broken into and the only things stolen were candy, gum or anything edible. No GPS or cell phones or car audio was ever stolen, just the food. So hide your kit kats. |

jake where were you at? I go to SLU, and i don't know if you're familiar with the area but i lived in the Coronado building over the summer and my buddys car got stolen from there, and another had an attempted break in. they were a big string of car jackings down here. brick through the window, joyride, then dump then across town. Ridiculous. |

ha no sh*it? Well damn. You know to be honest car robbery isn't that big around campus, you've got a much better chance of being mugged. Though most cars that are stolen around here are punkass kids that just go for joy rides.. but since you had all the audio gear in it they may have stripped it. who knows. I'll keep my eye open for your Avi though.. haha. |
